“What Really Counts…” Poem By Catherine Prutton

We love these words by British poet Catherine Prutton, which we think may strike a chord after the passing of Her Late Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II.
We can dream
about tomorrow,
and reminisce about yesterday,

we can make plans
for the future,
but they can soon
be snatched away,

and sometimes
we’re reminded
of what really,
really counts,

courage, strength,
compassion, hope
and love in
large amounts.
