Standard Funeral
Our Standard Funeral option starts from £2,080.
The Standard Funeral is an option that works with both cremation and burial services, and includes a Funeral Director escort on the day, with a traditional hearse to carry your loved one to their service and final resting place.
The Standard Funeral price does not include the price of the burial plot or crematoria. These prices are set by the local council and/or owners and we will provide you with options and prices based on your individual particular requirements. Where budget is a major factor in the funeral choice, we offer a Direct Burial as an option, which includes the cost of the plot.
The Standard Funeral works beautifully as is, though it can be added to in any number of ways, based on what you would like. We can work with you to customise the funeral, for example, by arranging flowers, helping with a dove release, providing memorial cards, incorporating a colour theme, and more, should it be required.
At Harrison Funeral Home, we offer you an award-winning, safe pair of hands for all of your funeral arranging needs.
For details about what exactly is included in the Standard Funeral option, please have a look at the service/price breakdown below, or give us a call 24/7 to discuss your requirements.

If Her Majesty’s Coroner is involved, these fees are not required -
Cremation Fees / Cemetery Fees & Plot

About Funeral Costs
Funeral costs can be broken down into three types of fees – those of the funeral home, third-parties and optional extras. These are explained here:
Funeral home fee
This covers all aspects of funeral arrangements, including professional assistance and attending to official paperwork, arranging graves and similar, caring for the deceased, and more.
Third-party fees
In the funeral sector, you will regularly hear third-party costs referred to as ‘disbursements.’ Examples of this is a Minister’s or Celebrant’s personal fees, or the purchase of a grave.
Optional extras
Any additional items you may want to include at a funeral, such as flowers, orders of service, etc.
