FAQs

It is difficult to advise on costs for repatriation since each case is unique. As an average indicator, it could range from £2,000 to £4,000.

Repatriation costs are dependent on several factors, such as where the deceased is going, whether the coffin needs to be hermetically sealed (i.e. airtight), how many (if any) translations are needed.

This depends where the person died and where their destination is. On average it takes approximately 14 days to arrange, though time zones are a factor, as well as potentially delayed flights.

We will of course work to make everything go as quickly as possible and smoothly for you.

Usually a deceased person is repatriated by plane, however specially adapted cars are also used if a land repatriation is required. This would be more common, for example to repatriate from Wales to England.
