Our founder, Mark Catchpole, is hands-on, leading the team as both Managing Director and Principal Funeral Director.
Mark founded Harrison Funeral Home 2010 by opening our first independent funeral home in Enfield, before going on to establish branches in Winchmore Hill and Highgate.
A well-seasoned Funeral Director, Mark is focused on delivering a client-centred service. As well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of all Harrison Funeral Home branches, Mark also personally conducts funerals.
He has been recognised by the Good Funeral Awards both individually as a Funeral Director and as a part of the Harrison team, which you can learn more about on Our Awards page. Additionally, in 2014 Mark received the Freedom of the City of London, an accolade given to people who have achieved success, recognition, or celebrity in their chosen field. In his spare time, 9 times out of 10 you will find Mark playing bowls, whatever the weather! A talented player, he represents Bush Hill Park Bowls Club, as well as Middlesex County.
