Harrison Funeral Home is pleased to announce an ongoing sponsor partnership with Enfield Town Football Club.
Enfield Town Football Club was the first supporter-owned football club in the United Kingdom, with a vision to be an inclusive club for all, and a football and social centre for the community with a range of teams playing at the highest sustainable levels possible.
With the Club’s home ground, Queen Elizabeth II Stadium (QEII), just down the road from Harrison’s Enfield branch on the Hertford Road, Enfield Town FC is one of our major local sporting teams. Playing in the Isthmian League Premier Division, a regional men’s football league covering Greater London, East and South East England, and featuring mostly semi-professional clubs, Enfield Town FC has been thriving on the pitch.
However, due to the impact of COVID-19, sporting clubs like Enfield Town FC have been hit particularly hard with every element affected – from the players themselves, to grounds staff, hospitality, sponsors, and venues. So this partnership with Enfield Town FC is important for Harrison Funeral Home as an organisation to fulfil in our role as a community-active player.
Being entirely fan-owned, Enfield Town FC raises every penny the Club needs independent of a wealthy owner, and Harrison Funeral Home is proud to support them with this.
Of the sponsorship, Harrison’s Managing Director, Mark Catchpole said, “Partnering with Enfield Town FC was a no-brainer. They are local to us, but also because the passion the owners have for the Club, as fans, is unlike anywhere else. Fans are the fabric of football, and Enfield Town FC is fully owned by them – purely with the vision to help the Club grow. That Harrison’s can contribute to continuing this is something we are proud to do.”
