On 11/11/21 at 11 AM we stood outside our branches to mark the 2 minutes’ silence to remember the fallen who served our country.
Our Enfield branch held a community event to mark the occasion, where we had a fantastic turnout.
Our local Member of Parliament Feryal Clark joined us for a Remembrance commemoration service held by Minister Paul James, attended by neighbouring Bridgewood Care Home residents, all the pupils from Enfield Heights Academy primary school, as well as representatives from the local Sea Cadets and the Police.
We had a wonderful dove release which was kindly provided by Lambert’s White Dove Release – North London (see video below) as well as Willie Cochrane from the Balmoral Highlanders playing the bagpipes.
