Harrison Funeral Home remembers those we have lost to COVID-19 and those who are grieving.
Whilst there is positive news regarding the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a downturn in the number of infections and deaths, and with more than 33 million people in the UK now having received at least one dose of a vaccine, we wanted to acknowledge those who have been affected by it over the past 13 months.
As shown in the photos here of our Harrison Funeral Home Enfield branch, the team has dressed the window in an ode to the COVID-19 Memorial Wall in Westminster, London. As funeral staff and as individuals, we have witnessed and personally experienced the devastation of coronavirus firsthand. We have dressed our windows in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to the virus, and for loved ones grieving.
This is to acknowledge that because life is now heading back to some sense of normality, we understand grief does not go away just because the world keeps spinning. In support of those grieving, we wanted to show solidarity. We hope it provides comfort for anyone that has lost someone through this pandemic.
