National Grief Awareness Week 2021

National Grief Awareness Week is an initiative to raise awareness of all aspects of grief and loss on a national scale.
The major goal of National Grief Awareness Week is to normalise grief and to get the public talking. Sharing one’s own story of grief can help ease feelings of isolation, as well as provide an opportunity to process what happened. Indeed, sharing our stories of loss helps others to understand the impact of grief and loss and enables conversations to take place, to open up to emotions and feelings that may be difficult to express so no one has to face grief alone.
