LGBT Foundation, a national charity delivering advice, support and information services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities, has published a new research report on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on LGBT+ communities in the UK.
This report is a culmination of the findings from their online survey, existing research on LGBT health inequalities, and their own unpublished service user data.
Some of the key findings include: 30% of respondents stating they are living alone at this time, which rises to 40% of LGBT people aged 50+. Further, 64% said that they would rather receive support during this time from an LGBT specific organisation.
You can read the report in full here on the LGBT Foundation website.
