Hospitals in India desperately need oxygen tanks to help people survive COVID-19 and the British Red Cross is helping.
As you may have seen on the news, the COVID-19 situation in India has become desperate. Hospitals and medical facilities have now run out of life-saving oxygen tanks. The British Red Cross has set up an appeal to help get supplies to those who need them in India and South Asia. On their Global Coronavirus Appeal page, the British Red Cross says:
“…Covid-19 has overwhelmed healthcare systems in India. South Asia is fast becoming the new global epicentre of the pandemic. A deadlier and more infectious new wave could be devastating for hundreds of millions of people, who are already experiencing poverty and hardship.”
If you would like to donate to the British Red Cross to help with their Global Coronavirus Appeal, you can do so on their website, here.
