Love was in the air at Bridgewood Care Home in Enfield when Funeral Arranger Donna donated some arts and crafts materials for the residents to make Valentine’s cards and ran a competition to see who could make the best card.
Donna first approached the care home with the idea in 2019 and a successful event ensued but it proved to be even more popular this year with more residents taking part. The two ladies who won ‘Best Card’ were presented with a box of chocolates by Donna.
Donna said: “I love being able to come out for a few hours and interact with the residents at Bridgewood. We always have a good time and I like talking to everyone over a cup of tea. This really is one of the highlights of my year, having some fun and getting creative.”
